Looking for the right spot was no easy task, until they found Brogue. A small town where the people are as nice as Texas. Brogue was soon on it's way to becoming home for Freebyrd.

" This is how it started.."
Freebyrd really began many many years ago. A man with a dream, and an empty basement. Mike has been a long time rider, and always been mechanically inclined. With his Daddy's wisdom, and life lessons in his back pocket, Mike quit his fancy suit and tie job, for something better, for something bigger.
Both Mike and Pam have rode for many years, and have a passion for the ride, and the bike. Mike's passion is motorcycles, and that is clearly present on ANY bike that he works on.
Originally from the South, Mike & Pam moved to Pennsylvania just like anyone else would. They moved for bigger opportunities, and that's exactly what they got.
March 2007 was the offical opening for Freebyrd. It was a long process to get to this point, but we're talking about the owners. They're not giving up for nothing.
June 2007 followed with our First Open House, and it was a good time. We had the ability to meet a lot of people from Washington, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland.
Throughout 2007 we attended many shows getting to know people and getting our name out there. It was surprising to know that a lot of people were having the same problem as the owners in bike shops; Getting Service, satisfaction at a reasonable price.
June 2008 rolled around and we were so thankful to our customers to be able to have our 2nd Annual Open House. It was a blast, meeting old and new friends and customers.
As we have entered 2009, we've made some major changes. Typically, we have our Open House in June. We're shootin' towards May.. where it's not as HOT! Keep an eye our site, and we hope to see ya around!
Freebyrd is for the customers, our goal is customer satisfaction and low prices. We pride ourself affordable parts and labor rates to keep both you, and your bike kickin'.

You'll meet Mike, (Owner) who is the main guy who works on the bikes, Pam, in parts and office, who is as sweet as her Southern Tea!
